Purpose

Explain how Eastbourne Trampoline members, coaches, volunteers, and parents will use the internet, email, messaging services, and social media safely and responsibly.

It  to protect everyone involved in the club — especially children and young people — from online risks.

Scope

This applies to:

  • All members of the club

  • Coaches, volunteers, and committee members

  • Parents and guardians of junior members

Acceptable online behaviour

Everyone will:

  • Be respectful and polite in all online posts, messages, and comments.

  • No photos or videos will be shared on social media without club authorisation.

  • Do not post anything that could embarrass, upset, or harm another person.

  • Club social media and email accounts will only be used for official club business.

Personal Information

Members, coaches, and volunteers must not publicly share:

  • Full names

  • Home addresses

  • Phone numbers

  • Email addresses

  • Medical information

All members, coaches, volunteers and participants must follow the privacy policy.

Photos and videos

All members, coaches, volunteers and participants must follow the photography policy.

Communication

All online communication will go through parents/guardians, where possible.

  • Coaches and volunteers must not have private one-to-one online conversations with members under 18.

  • Group messages will be monitored by more than one adult.

Reporting

Any member who sees or experiences unsafe or inappropriate online behaviour should report it immediately to the Club Welfare Officer.

The club will take all reports seriously and follow our Safeguarding Policy.
