Objectives
Eastbourne Trampoline Limited (LTD), aims to:
Promote, encourage, and provide opportunities for participation in trampolining.
Ensure that all members participate in a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment.
Provide coaching and competition opportunities for all.
Uphold and promote the values of respect, fair play, and personal development.
Membership
Membership is open to all individuals regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, ability, or background.
Members shall pay subscriptions as determined annually by the Committee.
Members agree to abide by the Club’s Constitution, Codes of Conduct, and policies.
Management
The Club shall be managed by a Committee, elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The Committee shall consist of at least the following officers:
Chairperson
Secretary
Treasurer
Welfare Officer
Head Coach (or Coaching Coordinator)
Additional officers may be elected as required.
All officers shall retire annually but be eligible for re-election.
Meetings
The Club shall hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) each year.
The Committee shall meet regularly to oversee the running of the Club.
Extraordinary General Meetings (EGMs) may be called by the Committee or by written request of at least 25% of the membership.
Finance
The Club is a non-profit organisation.
All funds shall be used solely for the benefit of the Club and its members.
The Treasurer shall keep proper accounts and present a financial statement at the AGM.
The Club’s bank account shall require at least two authorised signatories.
Discipline and Appeals
All members are subject to the Club’s Codes of Conduct.
The Committee has the power to take disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion, where necessary.
Members have the right to appeal disciplinary decisions in writing to the Committee.
Dissolution
The Club may only be dissolved by a resolution passed at a General Meeting by a two-thirds majority of those present and entitled to vote.
In the event of dissolution, any remaining assets, after payment of debts and liabilities, shall not be distributed among members but shall be transferred to:
A local club with similar objectives, or
A registered charity with similar aims.
Under no circumstances shall assets be distributed for private gain.
