This applies to all spectators at Eastbourne Trampoline training and events.

Safeguarding

Respect the Participants

  • Let to participants jump for themselves. Help but don’t control.
  • Ask a coach if you are unsure about safety.
  • Applaud effort, skill, and improvement as much as success.

  • Never shout instructions, argue with officials or coaches

  • Don’t distract participants during training or events.

  • Avoid negative comments, criticism, or comparisons with other participants.

Support the Coaches and Officials

  • Don’t instruct participants without a supervising coach.

  • Respect the decisions of officials, judges, and volunteers, even if you disagree.

  • Raise concerns calmly and respectfully, following the club’s communication channels.

Positive Behaviour

  • Be a role model for sportsmanship, courtesy, and respect.

  • Avoid inappropriate, aggressive, or abusive language or behaviour.

  • Encourage all participants equally, regardless of age, gender, or ability.

  • Support the club’s ethos of fun, safety, and personal growth.

Session Guidelines

  • Stay in designated spectator areas and keep exits, walkways, and equipment zones clear.

  • Supervise the younger children you bring to the venue.

  • Respect the facilities and help maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
